Editorial Policy

Between Them documents the public relationship history of well-known entertainers. We are strict about one distinction: what has been confirmed, and what was only reported.

Confirmed relationships

A relationship is labeled confirmed only when at least one of the following exists:

a public record (marriage, divorce, or other court filings); public acknowledgment by both people involved; direct acknowledgment by one of the people involved; a statement from an official representative; or a joint public statement.

Reported relationships

When credible media covered a relationship but the people involved never confirmed it, we label it reported · never confirmed — dashed lines in the graph, explicit banners on pages, and hedged language everywhere, including page titles and search snippets. We write "they were reported to have dated," never "they dated." A report is information about coverage, not a fact about a relationship.

Source grading

Every relationship cites its sources, and each source carries a reliability tier. High: public records, official statements, and reporting from established news organizations. Medium: reputable reference works (such as Wikipedia) and entertainment outlets with editorial standards. Low: everything else — never sufficient on its own, and never sufficient for a "confirmed" label. A confirmed relationship must cite at least one high- or medium-tier source; our automated checks enforce this before anything is published.

What we will not publish

Dating rumors involving minors; speculation about sexual orientation, pregnancy, or health; non-public location information; identities of private individuals; claims sourced only to anonymous forum posts; likely manipulated media; and unverified allegations of infidelity, crime, or abuse stated as fact.

Images

We use only images published under licenses that permit commercial reuse (Creative Commons or public domain, typically via Wikimedia Commons), and we display the author, license, and a link to the original file. We do not use paparazzi or agency photos. When no properly licensed image exists, we show a neutral initials avatar instead.

Corrections and updates

Every page shows its last review date. Anyone — including the people documented here or their representatives — can request a correction. Requests are reviewed by a person before any change is made; nothing enters the dataset automatically. All edits are version-controlled, so the full history of every fact is preserved.
