The story

Grimes and Elon Musk were publicly described as romantic partners by March 2020, with Rolling Stone reporting that Grimes called Musk her boyfriend and confirmed he was the father of her child. Musk said in a December 3, 2021 interview that he and Grimes were “probably semi-separated” and were seeing less of each other because their work kept them in different places. By March 2022, Grimes said she would probably call Musk her boyfriend while describing their relationship as fluid, with separate homes and frequent contact.
