The story
Leslie Caron confirmed that she and Warren Beatty had a romantic affair that was underway by 1965. Caron said that after her 1965 divorce from Peter Hall, she followed Beatty to Hollywood and lived with him there for two years. Caron said Beatty repeatedly proposed marriage, but she declined and ultimately ended their relationship because she found life with him too dramatic and public.
